Andrea Boohaker DNP, ACNP-BC, RNFA

Dr. Andrea Boohaker is the director of advanced practice providers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has over 17 years of experience in orthopedic trauma and orthopedic surgery. She holds a DNP degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an MSN degree from Vanderbilt University. Her clinical practice involves autonomously treating patients with upper extremity trauma diagnoses and oversees approximately 200 APPs across various inpatient and ambulatory care service lines and surgical departments. Dr. Boohaker also serves as a clinical assistant professor of nursing for the UAB School of Nursing and an adjunct instructor for the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
