Danielle J. Doberman MD, MPH

Dr. Danielle J. Doberman completed her medical school training at George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2000, and stayed on to complete a residency in Primary Care-based Internal Medicine. Following a year as Chief Resident, she completed George Washington's fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Seeking to broaden her interests in the unique needs of older adults at the end-of-life, Dr. Doberman undertook and completed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hospice & Palliative Medicine, and Geriatrics. She also has interests in geriatric pain management and medical education, and is part-time faculty in the Division of Geriatrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Doberman is the founding Medical Director of the Palliative Medicine Program at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and is an Attending Physician with Gilchrist Hospice Care. She serves as Medical Director for Gilchrist's Howard County Facility Based Care team, and is the Medical Director of the new Gilchrist Inpatient Center which opened in Howard County in late May.
