| Dr. Donna Hamby is an acute care nurse practitioner with over 30+ years of experience managing the complex clinical and nursing needs of patients in acute, transitional, and post-acute care facilities. She is currently serving as a graduate nursing adjunct faculty member at Texas Christian University. Dr. Hamby's teaching and research has been related to healthcare policy at the local, state, and national level. She had served on the Health Affairs Committee for the past 12 years, including serving 2 years as chair. She has served on a state advisory committee for Medicaid services and participated on an advisory group at the federal level to develop processes for transmittal of data between healthcare systems. |
