Dr. Francis Dann is an emeritus professor of dermatology at the University of California, Irvine, and the former chief of dermatology at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. He is presently a staff dermatologist at Hawaii Pacific Health. He has more than 46 years of experience and holds his MD degree from Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is passionate about the practice of dermatology; his volunteer work has included 13 trips to the Philippines taking care of patients with skin diseases, including leprosy.
