Gayle Scott PharmD, BCPS, CGP, CMPP, ELS

Gayle Nicholas Scott received her pharmacy degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, School of Pharmacy, and her doctor of pharmacy degree at the University of Washington. Dr. Scott is a fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and geriatrics. She is an assistant clinical professor at the MCV School of Pharmacy and a community faculty member of Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Scott practiced in hospital and long-term care facilities for 2 decades and left clinical practice to pursue her love of medical writing. She has written about a wide variety of medical subject areas for various media including medical journals, abstracts, posters, internet content, and continuing medical education programs. Dr. Scott particularly enjoys writing and lecturing about dietary supplements and geriatrics.
