| Dr. George Peraza-Smith is a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and an experienced nurse educator, clinician, and academic leader. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed his BSN and MSN degrees in nursing administration at University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Peraza-Smith is board certified as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, gerontological nurse practitioner, APRN gerontological specialist, and nurse educator. He is the immediate past-president of the Florida Nurses Association and inaugural past-president of the Gerontology Nursing Certification Commission, where he continues to serve as a trustee. |
