Dr. Ming Tzeng is a professor at the The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She holds a PhD and an MS degree in nursing from the University of Michigan and a BS in nursing from National Yang-Ming Medical College in Taipei, Taiwan. Her research area is quality of care and patient safety for adults, with a focus on fall prevention and patient engagement towards self-care as well as their association with patient-centered outcomes. She has used both quantitative and qualitative research designs to address patient safety issues in clinical settings.
