Jordan Bates PharmD, BCACP

Dr. Jordan Bates is a clinical pharmacy practitioner with the US Department of Veterans Affairs at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. After graduating from Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy, Dr. Bates pursued a PGY1 pharmacy residency and PGY2 pharmacy residency with the University of Texas at Austin specializing in ambulatory care. With over a decade of clinical pharmacy experience, Dr. Bates has practiced at the top of his license, delivering direct patient care in settings such as the community living center (CLC) and patient-aligned care team (PACT) clinics. Utilizing his advanced training and prescriptive authority, he provides comprehensive medication management for geriatric veterans with complex, chronic conditions. Dr. Bates is dedicated to serving veterans, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the education of residents and medical providers.
