Laura Rodriguez has always had an interest in working with elders. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant on the night shift in a Skilled Nursing Facility to support herself through nursing school. Initially certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she utilized the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Alternative Eligibilty Criteria to recertify as a GNP. She has been blessed to work at House Calls for the past 7 years delivering patient centered, culturally sensitive home based primary care to a diverse, vulnerable patient population.
