Dr. Lisa Young is a Board Certified Infectious Diseases Pharmacist and an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Young earned her PharmD from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Pharmacy in 2006. She then completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Duke University Medical Center in 2007 and a PGY-2 Infectious Disease Residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center in 2008. For the past 10 years, Dr. Young has been an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Jesse Brown Veteran Affairs Medical Center where she is the co-chair of the P&T Antimicrobial Subcommittee. Dr. Young is also the residency program director for her institutions PGY-2 Infectious Disease residency program.
