Dr. Lynn Roser is an assistant professor at the University of Louisville School of Nursing (SON), where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate nursing students. She brings over 28 years of teaching experience and more than 35 years of clinical expertise in cardiovascular nursing. Dr. Roser earned her PhD degree from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. In addition to her academic and clinical background in cardiology, she holds national certification in infection prevention and has served as a nurse epidemiologist, including her role as the infection prevention nurse for the Kentucky Department for Public Health. Dr. Roser is an active member of several professional organizations, serving on multiple boards, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. Her research interests span COVID-19, infectious disease/prevention, and subsequent biobehavioral and cardiac complications in patients with acute and long COVID-19 infections. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Roser collaborated with the University of Louisvilleās Center of Excellence in Research in Infectious Diseases (CERID) as part of the cardiovascular study group. |
