Dr. Melanie Michael is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean for the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program and Graduate Primary Care Programs at the University of South Florida’s College of Nursing. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner with national certification in family practice. She also holds the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality credential and is a Distinguished Practitioner and Fellow of the National Academies of Practice. Dr. Michael has more than 30 years of experience in primary care/practice, health care quality improvement, and public/population health program administration.
