This session discusses the pre-exposure prophylaxis (PReP) program in the fight to prevent HIV infections. Focus includes a brief history of PReP and the use of Truvada, candidates eligible to receive PReP, medications used for PReP and possible drug drug interactions, and the monitoring process once PReP is prescribed.
