Nakia Beard is a Geriatrics Pharmacy Practice Resident at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006 from Morgan State University and continued her professional education at Hampton University where she obtained her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2010. She then completed her General Pharmacy Practice Residency at Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy. Her passion for the care of the aging population has led her to pursue advanced geriatrics clinical training at University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
