Dr. Nanette Lavoie-Vaughan is a nursing professional who specializes in geriatric care. She wants to educate future generations of nurse practitioners, assist those providing care to the elderly to do the best they can, and advocate for quality in the care of the elderly in all settings. She is currently in practice in North Carolina as a consultant and educator. She received a master's degree in nursing from Florida State University, a DNP degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, and a post-doctoral certificate in ethnogeriatrics from Stanford University.
