Ralston House Term Chair in Gerontological Nursing, University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing

Dr. Pamela Cacchione is the Ralston House term chair in gerontological nursing and an associate professor of geropsychiatric nursing at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She also is a nurse scientist at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Cacchione received her BSN degree from Villanova University, her MSN degree at Marymount University, and her PhD degree from Saint Louis University. She completed her post-doctoral degree at the University of Iowa. Dr. Cacchione is the editor of Clinical Nursing Research, An International Journal. She also serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Gerontological Nursing and Research in Gerontological Nursing. She is a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and the American Academy of Nursing, a past president of GAPNA, and one of the conveners of the expert panels on aging for the American Academy of Nursing.
