Quratulain (Anna) Zulfiqar PharmD, BCACP

Dr. Anna Zulfiqar is a clinical pharmacy specialist at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) with over a decade of experience in clinical pharmacy practice. She is residency trained and board certified, having completed her pharmacy residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Bay Pines, Florida. Dr. Zulfiqar’s clinical focus includes deprescribing and optimizing medication therapy to improve patient safety and outcomes, as well as the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and other cardiometabolic diseases. She brings a patient-centered, individualized approach to care, working collaboratively with patients and interdisciplinary teams to identify and address barriers to optimal therapy.
