Dr. Nicki Hastings is a Geriatrician and Investigator in the Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center and the Center of Innovation for Health Services Research at the Durham VA Medical Center. She is Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Duke University and Senior Fellow in the Duke Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development. Dr. Hastings' research focuses on improving transitions of care for older adults. She has been a practicing geriatrician for more than 10 years and has conducted research and quality improvement projects related to medication use in older adults.
