Ted Johnson MD, MPH

Dr.Ted Johnson is a Professor in the Department of Medicineat Emory University School of Medicine, with adjunct appointments in PublicHealth and Urology. He serves as the Director of the Division of GeneralMedicine and Geriatrics, and Director of the Emory Center for Health in Aging.He holds the Paul W. Seavey Chair in Medicine, and is the Chair of the Familyand Preventive Medicine Department. Dr. Johnson is also the Atlanta SiteDirector and Associate Director of the Birmingham/Atlanta VA GeriatricsRehabilitation, Education, and Clinical Center at the Atlanta Department ofVeterans Affairs Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine andgeriatric medicine.

Dr. Johnson's clinical research program focuseson delivering the appropriate care to elderly patients and quality of lifeissues facing adults as they age, and in particular bladder dysfunction in theelderly. He is supported by several federal and VA peer-reviewed grants. Dr.Johnson sees patients needing specialty care for lower urinary tract disordersat the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA, and at the Wesley Woods Centerof Emory University.
