Caring for older women, especially frail elders, can pose challenges for a provider, as patients may present with gynecologic problems that are difficult to diagnose or manage in connection with other health issues. This session explores some of the current challenges faced in dealing with gynecological issues for this patient population and provides information that can assist in providing better care.

List the current PAP screening recommendations for women above 70 years old.
Describe the basic workup for post-menopausal bleeding.
Name at least four common genital skin conditions found in elderly females.
Name the three types of pelvic organ prolapsed.
