This session reviews the evidence related to care of solid organ transplant recipients over the age of 65, as well as offers practical advice for advanced practice providers who care for transplant patients in their practice. Underlying disease progression, indicators of rejection, important drug interactions, and chronic disease management specific to the geriatric transplant population are discussed.
