An expert panel presents approaches to engage APNs as preceptors in facilitating the learning of nurse practitioner and/or clinical nurse specialist students who will manage the care of older adults. Realistic approaches to recruiting and retaining preceptors, guidance for preceptors, and resources for preceptor training are discussed, and attendees will become familiarized with the Gerontology Resources for APRN Preceptors and Students.
