Description

APNs must have the skills to both initiate and continue to engage in challenging conversations with patients and families about diagnosis, prognosis, and planning for how they will live with progressive disease and what is most important in their end-of-life care. This session presents culturally sensitive palliative care-informed methods that can be implemented in advanced nursing practice with older adults.
