Description

Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is associated with increased morbidity and mortality in the elderly population (≥65 years of age). This session discusses the stages of ARDS, the development of an evidence-based treatment for ARDS, and ways to prevent ARDS in older adult patients.
