This session discusses updates to the clinical guidelines for managing atrial ﬁbrillation in older adult patients, from primary to acute care. Focus includes the growing incidence and importance of atrial ﬁbrillation in the population; pharmacologic options for management, including the use of anticoagulation for stroke prevention; and non-pharmacologic options for treating atrial ﬁbrillation.
