Description

Leadership is a complex process having multiple dimensions. Using an interactive, roundtable format, this session explores leadership, its underpinnings, and how it works from both a practical and theoretical perspective. Selected leadership topics, including positive psychological capacities and leadership, interactive social character and leadership, and knowledge expansion of the many different approaches to leadership and ways to practice it more effectively are presented.

  • Articulate a personal philosophy of leadership.
  • Compare and contrast three different leadership approaches related to advanced practice nursing.
