Dawn Marie Baylis has been a gerontological nurse practitioner since 2008 and has been working as an NP for Evercare in Maryland. Recently she was promoted to the role of clinical services manager for the Delaware region for Evercare, now known as Optum. She has been active with GAPNA since attending her first conference as a student in 2008, and currently serves as your Conference Planning Committee Chair.In addition to her direct clinical care, Dawn Marie has developed a love for coding. During her tenure with Evercare, she has trained many NPs in the art of coding and risk adjusting. She has developed numerous coding tools to try and make this dry, tedious skill, fun.
