Dr. Gerti Heider is an Assistant Professor at Rutgers School of Nursing. Her extensive experience as a GNP includes mental health, long term care, acute care, private practice, and education. Dr. Heider has presented regionally, nationally and internationally, most recently delivering a keynote address in Jamaica. Her current research involves the study of the causes of UTIs in post menopausal older women.
