Dr. Walter Conlan is a board-certified diplomate of the American Academy of Physical Medicine Rehabilitation, as well as the American Board of Preventive Medicine, Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Conlan is also a certified wound specialist physician (CWSP) of the American Board of Wound Management, and is one of only 143 physicians nationwide who holds the elite designation of certified wound specialist physician. As the CEO of Florida Wound Care Doctors, Central Florida's only medical practice that concentrates exclusively on wound care on a full-time basis, Dr. Conlan is inspired to help his patients overcome even the most severe types of wounds. His passion for patient care is rewarded when he can be an active participant in the wound healing process. Additionally, Dr. Conlan is the medical director for the Osceola Regional Wound Care Center in Kissimmee, FL, as well as the Lucerne Wound Healing Center in Orlando, FL. He is also the current president of the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM).
