Dr. Jamie Cvengros is currently an assistant professor of behavioral sciences at Rush University Medical Center. At Rush, she provides clinical services aimed at improving adherence in two clinics: (a) the Rush Sleep Disorders Center, where she provides intervention to improve adherence to CPAP and (b) Associates in Internal Medicine, where she provides interventions to improve adherence to treatment for various disorders including diabetes, hypertension, and depression. She received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Iowa, where her research focused on the impact of the patient-doctor relationship on treatment adherence. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. She is certified in behavioral sleep medicine and primary care psychology.
