Simone Minto-Pennant PharmD, BCPS, CGP, CPh

Simone Minto-Pennant received her doctor of pharmacy degree from
Florida A&M University in 1997 and completed her pharmacy practice residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL, in 1998. She worked as a clinical pharmacist at Florida Hospital-East Orlando where she partnered with the infectious disease team on the development of the community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) guideline and IV to PO initiative. She served as clinical coordinator of internal medicine and infectious disease for three years, maintaining the hospital's antibiogram and developing therapeutic guidelines. She has been employed as a clinical pharmacist for the past seven years at the Orlando VA Medical Center. In 2011, she became board-certified in pharmacotherapy. Her practice base spans over a broad area including acute care, home infusion, hospice, and long-term care.
