Dr. Laurie Kennedy-Malone is a professor of nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has been a nurse educator for 30 years and has taught nurse practitioner students for 25 years. Dr. Kennedy-Malone was the project director of a HRSA grant in which technology was used to develop video simulations. She is past president of NCGNP and has served on the board of GAPNA. Dr. Kennedy-Malone was the 2020 recipient of the GAPNA Leadership Award.
