K.C. Arnold is the owner and a nurse practitioner of The Diabetes Center in Ocean Springs, Maryland. She made it through Hurricane Katrina in 2005, only to find out she was losing her job 4 weeks later. She opened her own diabetes clinic 2 months later. She served in the United States Air Force for 12 years and has her MSN degree from the University of South Alabama and her BSN degree from SUNY - Binghamton. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association, American Nurses Association, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
