Dr. Tamatha Arms has been an adult/geriatric nurse practitioner since 2007, working with older adults in all levels and settings of care. She received her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certificate in 2013 and has been working with older adults specifically for mental health needs since. Dr. Arms also teaches full time at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, across programs where her expertise is sought for invited presentations as well as course and program development and delivery.
