Cathy Yaggy MSN, GNP-BC

Cathy Yaggy is a gerontological nurse practitioner. In 2004 she was the co-founder of Extended Care Specialists, and in January 2020 Extended Care Specialists merged with Eventus WholeHealth. Cathy serves as the director of primary care in the midwest, where she manages services provided by physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants at more than 250 long-term care and assisted living facilities. She has also been a clinical instructor at the University of Saint Francis, as well as a member of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association and the Society of Post-Acute and Long-term Care Medicine. Ms. Yaggy earned a bachelor of arts degree in pre-health from Central College in Pella, Iowa; a bachelor of science in nursing from Grandview College in Des Moines, Iowa; and a master of science in nursing from the University of Tennessee.
