Tish Anderson is currently a Nurse Practitioner at the Arthritis Center of North Georgia. She is board certified in dermatology and has taught and presented dermatology nursing topics at the Georgia State School Nurses’ Annual Conference as well as at MSN programs at Brenau University, Emory University and Vanderbilt University.
Tish began her nursing career almost 20 years ago as a veterinary nurse, eventually working at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in the Small Animal ICU and as the Canine Blood Donor Program Coordinator. In 2005 she completed her BSN at Brenau University and began work in the Medical/Surgical/Neurosurgical ICU's at Athens Regional Medical Center. Then in 2008 she completed her MSN at Vanderbilt University with a focus in Forensic Nursing and began work at a dermatology office. She still sees dermatology patients at Athens Nurses Clinic monthly.
