Jeffrey Kang MD, MPH

Dr. Jeffrey Kang has over 35 years of progressive healthcare experience in primary care, commercial health insurance, retail healthcare, and government. Dr. Kang is a geriatrician and has led successful, full-risk primary care practices for Pacificare/Secure Horizon, EverCare, PACE and, most recently, ChenMed, providing concierge-level, primary care to low-to-moderate-income Medicare Advantage beneficiaries. He previously served as chief medical officer for Cigna and senior vice president for Walgreens. He also served as the very first chief clinical officer for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS). Dr. Kang is currently the founding CEO of WellBe Senior Medical, an innovative healthcare platform providing concierge, team-based geriatric care to the frail, polychronic elderly Medicare Advantage beneficiary on a global capitated basis. In addition, he serves on the board of directors of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), ChenMed, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota.
