Dr. Sally Mahmoud is an assistant professor at California State University Dominguez Hills. She has been a public health nurse generalist for over 15 years and worked with the geriatric population for over 20 years in various clinical and leadership capacity. She helped develop and grow the PHN elder protective services (APS) program in San Bernardino and Riverside County, CA. She has over 11 years of experience working for the department of public social services providing consultation on high medical abuse cases. She holds a DNP degree from Touro University Nevada, and a dual master's degree in nursing and public health from California State University Long Beach and obtained her BSN degree from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2003. Dr. Mahmoud passed the certified nurse educator national exam in 2021. Her current work experience includes teaching online undergraduate and graduate nursing courses since 2019.
