Dr. Michele Talley is associate professor and interim associate dean for clinical and global partnerships in the school of nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also serves as the clinical director of the PATH Clinic that serves a medically complex and uninsured population of adults with diabetes. Dr. Talley has over 17 years of experience as a nurse practitioner with over 13 years in diabetes management. She is well versed in the challenges and social determinants faced by vulnerable populations and shares her knowledge and strategies at the local, state, and national level. Dr. Talley is board certified as an adult acute care nurse practitioner. She earned her BSN degree from the University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing and her MSN and PhD degrees from the UAB School of Nursing.
