DorAnne Donesky PhD, ANP-BC

Dr. DorAnne Donesky is Associate Professor and Director of interprofessional palliative care educational programs at UCSF School of Nursing. She is an adult nurse practitioner who has worked with pulmonary patients since 1990 and has unlimited empathy for those living with chronic lung disease. Her dissertation research focused on non-pharmacological interventions such as long-term exercise adherence and home walking to improve symptoms and functioning for people living with COPD. She is immediate past-chair of the Nursing Assembly of the American Thoracic Society, and she is currently developing an outpatient pulmonary-focused palliative care clinic at UCSF.
