Brigadier General Clara Adams-Ender

Brigadier General Clara Adams-Ender has an incredible 56 years in nursing practice! Her nursing career started in the United States Army and in 1967 she was the first female in the army to be awared the Expert Field Medical Badge. Through the years she has received many awards for her community work and service, including being named by Working Woman magazine as one of 350 women who changed the world from 1976 – 1996. She is a charismatic, knowledgeable, and inspiring speaker who has presented to over fifteen hundred audiences at home and abroad.

General Adams-Ender is the Executive Director of the nonprofit Caring About People With Enthusiasm (CAPE) Legacy Fund Inc. CAPE provides financial assistance to nursing, military, and business students of modest means who are completing their undergraduate degrees.
