Jill R. Nelson MSN, ANP-C, ACHPN

Jill Nelson joined the Palliative Care Program at Vanderbilt University in 2007. She is an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in palliative care and is credentialed with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is boarded as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse. Jill is also an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and lectures on palliative care to graduate students in the School of Nursing. In addition, she is a clinical preceptor for Vanderbilt nurse practitioner students and provides palliative care education for staff. Jill was the second author for a chapter in Palliative Practices from A-Z for the Bedside Clinician, 2nd Edition.
