Dr. Izabela Kazana is a post-doctoral VA Quality Scholars Fellow at the Cleveland VA Medical Center in Ohio. She started her work on improving health care through quality improvement projects in Poland and for the last 3 years has been devoted to developing more advanced skills in Quality Improvement Methodology. As a DNP Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner student at Rush University in Chicago, she received the Dorothy and Luther Christman Scholarship Award. Currently she is a Coaching Fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. She joined GAPNA in 2014 and was the recipient of the 2016-2017 GAPNA Health Affairs Scholarship.
