Ameera Chakravarthy MS, CRNP, ACNP-BC, FNP-BC

Ameera Chakravarthy is the acting specialty Director of the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner-Clinical Nurse Specialist Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore. For the past 5 years, Ameera has lectured and conducted research on nurse led interventions to address sarcopenia in hospitalized older adults. Ameera has been a practicing nurse practitioner for the last 11 years, most recently in perioperative services and thoracic surgery.
