Liz Macera PhD, RN-BC, ANP-C, GNP-C

Liz Macera is board certified in pain management nursing and as both a geriatric and adult nurse practitioner. She is currently employed by Kaiser Permanente Northern California as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner in the skilled nursing facility services. She has developed an education program on palliative care nursing for staff nurses in sub-acute care. She holds a doctorate in gerontological nursing and has taught at the master's level. In addition, she is involved with providing continuing education programs for several nursing professional organizations.
