Victoria Nalls is an Optum CCM clinical services manager in the Mid-Atlantic area and has been working in long-term care for almost a decade. She has certifications from the American Board of Wound Management, the Hospice and Palliative Care Credentialing Center and currently is working on her PhD with a research focus on behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia. She has served as a legal expert in wound care, defending long term care on two cases. Mrs. Nalls is an active member of GAPNA and has been on the planning committee the past two years as well as an active member of AMDA: The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care, where she participates in the clinical practice committee and has helped write updates to CPG guidelines and pocket guides on wound care. She also actively participates in the Hospice/Palliative Care Nurses Association, where she is content faculty and helped write educational slides for palliative care.
