Diogenes syndrome is a rare condition that is often misdiagnosed and more common in older adults. It is a complex cluster of symptoms that includes physical neglect, hoarding, and social isolation. Using a case presentation, this session discusses the DSM criteria for diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management. Pharmacological interventions are included.
