Gerontological Specialist Certification Exam Review Workshop: Palliative, Hospice, End of Life and Using a Systems Based Approach

The APRN specialty certification in gerontology – the APRN gerontological specialist – certified (GS-C) – distinguishes APRNs who possess expert knowledge, experience, and skill in managing the complex needs of older adults. This session focuses on reviewing material covered on the certification examination. Teaching strategies include presentations, case studies, and discussion based on the twelve proficiencies for the APRN gerontological specialist.
