This presentation reviews what is known about end-of-life wounds, describes documentation of a wound prognosis along with the HOPPES and SPECIAL criteria, and discusses wound treatment for maintenance/palliative wounds. Cases are discussed, demonstrating making the wound prognosis, documentation to support prognosis, and dressing management.
