Providing Palliative Care for Elderly Patients with Dementia in the ED

When an end-stage demented patient arrives with an unknown code status a-hurry-up-to-slow-down attitude may ensue. This session discusses the common conditions and misconceptions about palliative care for those patients in the emergency setting.
